Washington: US President Donald Trump confirmed on Thursday that all options are on the table for resolving the conflict with Iran, stating, “US forces in the Middle East are prepared for the possibility of all-out war against Iran.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Trump told Axios, “We are approaching a critical juncture in the confrontation with Iran regarding the resumption of large-scale attacks to end the conflict on social media.” He added that a fateful decision is looming about intervening to potentially eliminate the Iranian regime, noting that Iranians are in direct contact with the US and still seek an agreement.

The US president emphasized his intention to use the UN meeting to gather insights from regional allies on the next steps in the conflict. He remarked that the decision to eliminate the Iranian regime is significant, reiterating that all options remain on the table and US forces are prepared for any escalation in the Middle East against Iran.

Trump also expressed satisfaction with the current naval blockade, which aims to prevent Iran from exporting its oil, signaling a continued strategic approach in exerting pressure on Tehran.
