Jeddah: The Gulf Football Federations of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, and the UAE have announced their national team lineups for the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup, also known as Gulf Cup Jeddah 27, scheduled to take place from September 23 to October 6, 2026. The tournament will see participation from eight teams.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the teams have been divided into two groups. Group A will feature Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Oman, while Group B will consist of the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, and Yemen. The tournament format stipulates that the top two teams from each group will progress to the semi-final stage, intensifying the competition as the teams vie for the championship title.
