Baghdad: A faculty member at the College of Physical Education at Diyala University is participating in an international judging panel. Safaa Abdul Wahab, a faculty member at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Diyala University, has been selected to participate in the international judging panel for the QS Reimagine Education Awards 2026. This international initiative recognizes and honors leading projects and innovations in education, learning, and the development of future skills.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Marwa Khalid Jihad, the media director of the College of Physical Education, stated that the judging process involves evaluating international educational projects and initiatives according to specific criteria that focus on innovation, educational impact, depth of effect, scalability, and sustainability. This is part of a structured evaluation process that uses specific judging criteria for the various award categories.
She added that this participation underscores the presence of academic expertise at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences in international scientific and academic activities and contributes to the evaluation of initiatives aimed at developing the future of education and innovation globally.
This international representation embodies the college’s commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4, Quality Education, by supporting innovation in education and developing future skills, and Goal 17, Partnerships for the Goals, through enhancing academic presence and international collaboration in evaluating leading educational initiatives.
