Judicial Development Institute Hosts Workshop to Tackle Court Operational Challenges


Baghdad: The Judicial Development Institute is organizing a workshop to address work-related issues between the Federal Court of Cassation and the Courts of Appeal. The workshop aims to find solutions to operational challenges faced by these courts in their roles as both appellate and original courts.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the workshop was conducted on Thursday and featured presentations by members of the Federal Court of Cassation, Judge Mohammed Abdul Ali and Judge Abdul Wahab Abdul Razzaq. It saw participation from the heads and members of both appellate and original panels, who are instrumental in the court system.



The workshop focused on addressing and overcoming obstacles faced by the appellate panels to prevent future disruptions. A significant aspect of the discussion was the emphasis on resolving cases within the timeframes specified by law. Additionally, participants shared proposals aimed at enhancing judicial performance, reflecting a collective effort to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the judicial process.
