Baghdad: Six days after completing his sentence, a thief who robbed a medical complex in the Karkh district was arrested. Security forces detained the man, who was identified by his records in the directorate’s criminal system, for stealing money and medicine.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Interior reported in a press release that the Al-Khadraa Anti-Crime Unit successfully apprehended the suspect. The arrest was made possible after the unit matched the thief’s information in their criminal records system, leading to his quick capture in less than 24 hours.
