Basra: The General Directorate for Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Affairs announced the arrest of four suspects involved in drug trafficking and the seizure of 10 kilograms of hashish in Basra.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Directorate reported: “Through a security operation, the Basra Narcotics Affairs Directorate succeeded in arresting four suspects and seizing 10 kg of hashish, following the monitoring and field surveillance of their movements.”

The General Directorate for Narcotics Affairs affirmed that it is continuing its security and intelligence efforts to pursue drug traffickers, cut off sources of distribution, and refer suspects to the judiciary in accordance with the law.
