Nineveh: The Director of Organized Crime Control in Nineveh, Major General Abdul Wahab Abdul Razzaq, confirmed that the province has witnessed a significant decrease in crime rates and security incidents, placing it among the leading Iraqi provinces in this regard.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Abdul Razzaq stated, “The security stability achieved in Nineveh is a result of continuous monitoring and coordination among the various security agencies.” He highlighted that “the relevant agencies are continuing to implement their plans to combat organized crime, pursue wanted individuals, and reduce phenomena that affect the province’s security.” Abdul Razzaq further explained that “the decrease in crime rates has positively impacted the movement of citizens and economic activity throughout Nineveh.”
