Baghdad: Head of the State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, and Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi al-Amiri, have underlined the crucial need to address and resolve the issue of weapons that are outside state control through mutual understanding.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Hakim’s media office announced that he hosted Hadi al-Amiri for discussions this evening. The dialogue centered on political developments within Iraq and the broader region. Both leaders reaffirmed the importance of tackling challenges by fostering greater internal cohesion and reinforcing national unity. They discussed resolving the issue of unauthorized weapons through understanding and dialogue, with an emphasis on prioritizing the public interest.

The statement further highlighted that Al-Hakim and Al-Amiri emphasized the need to restore stability in the region, urging an end to the prevailing state of escalation and tension.
