Baghdad:The Ministry of Labor has announced the continuation of reduced tuition fees for students from families benefiting from social protection. The reduction, which amounts to 50%, is applicable to students enrolled in morning and evening studies at universities and governmental institutes.

According to the National Iraqi News Agency, The Ministry emphasized that this decision aligns with the government’s efforts to support social protection families. The initiative is confirmed for the academic year 2026-2027, ensuring financial relief for eligible students.

An official statement clarified that the tuition reduction applies exclusively to the children of families registered under the social protection program, reinforcing the government’s commitment to educational accessibility for disadvantaged communities.
