Baghdad:President Nizar Amedi emphasized the importance of enhancing security, stability, and sovereignty during a meeting with British Ambassador Irfan Siddiq at the Peace Palace.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, President Amedi expressed Iraq’s dedication to strengthening relations with the United Kingdom, particularly in the economic, investment, and trade sectors. He underscored the value of British expertise in supporting Iraq’s development and reconstruction, encouraging further investment from British companies.

The President highlighted the necessity of using dialogue and diplomatic efforts to address regional and international challenges, aiming to contribute to global peace and stability.

Ambassador Siddiq reaffirmed the United Kingdom’s commitment to supporting Iraq and enhancing bilateral cooperation across various fields.
