Law Enforcement to Be Applied Equally to All, Says Interior Ministry

Baghdad:The Ministry of Interior has reiterated its firm stance against activities that could undermine state authority and the rule of law, emphasizing its commitment to enforcing the law and upholding state authority without exception.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Major General Miqdad Miri, Head of the Relations and Media Department at the Ministry of Interior, stated that the ministry is taking steady, well-planned steps to strengthen the state’s presence and ensure the law is applied to all.

The ministry is actively pursuing wanted individuals, seizing unlicensed weapons, and combating organized crime. It is also confronting any activities that attempt to bypass state authority and the law.

Major General Miri highlighted that citizen safety and societal stability are critical priorities for the ministry, which remains dedicated to enforcing the law and protecting public order. The Ministry of Interior continues to enhance its security, intelligence, and proactive measures to achieve these goals.
