Baghdad:Iraq’s Ministry of Transport took part in the meetings of the Technical Committee for Land, Maritime and Multimodal Transport, held at the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the 26th session included representatives from member Arab countries and was guided by directives from Iraq’s Minister of Transport, Wahab Al-Hassani.

The ministry’s participation is aimed at enhancing Iraq’s presence in Arab forums and fostering cooperation in transport sectors to bolster trade exchange among Arab nations. Discussions focused on developing the Arab transport system and improving coordination and trade facilitation between member states.

The session is expected to result in a series of recommendations and proposals, which will be presented to the Council of Arab Transport Ministers in their upcoming meeting in November.
