Turkey Issues Warning Over Al-Aqsa Mosque Incursions by Israeli Groups

Baghdad:Turkey has warned against the continued incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque carried out by Israeli groups under official protection, stating that such actions could inflame regional tensions and undermine efforts for peace and stability.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Turkish Ministry of Defense emphasized in a press briefing that Israel’s actions in the West Bank, following the killing of 74,000 Palestinians, including infants, children, and women in Gaza, are unacceptable and that Turkey categorically rejects this behavior.

The Ministry urged the international community to take action to end the situation in Palestine and to implement deterrent measures against Israeli attacks that violate international law, norms, and humanitarian values.

In addition to this, the Ministry highlighted that on September 25, the Chiefs of General Staff from Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan met in Riyadh under the Makkah Defense Alliance. The meeting focused on enhancing military cooperation and coordination, as well as capability integration, deterrence, and collective defense.
