Baghdad:The Ministry of Communications has signed a memorandum of understanding with Huawei to establish data centers and develop international partnerships.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the memorandum was signed under the patronage and in the presence of Minister of Communications Mustafa Sanad. The agreement aims to deliver high-quality services and was finalized during the Iraq International ITEX5-2026 exhibition and conference.

The General Company for Communications and Informatics will be collaborating with Huawei in this initiative, which focuses on fostering international partnerships alongside the establishment of data centers.
