Najaf:Iraqi Airways announced the resumption of its direct flights to Iran, set to begin on Thursday, October 8, 2026.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the airline’s management outlined that the new operational plan includes regular daily flights connecting Najaf Al-Ashraf International Airport with the airports of Mashhad, Tehran, and Isfahan.

This initiative is intended to improve passenger traffic flow and offer consistent air travel options between Iraq and several Iranian cities.
