Baghdad:The Parliamentary Committee on Regions, Governorates, Planning, and the Government Program held a joint meeting with the Minister of Trade, Mustafa Nizar Al-Ani, to discuss the implementation of the government program, focusing on the Ministry’s plans for the ration card and food basket files.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, MP Jaafar Al-Zamili, a member of the committee, stated that the meeting aimed to review the government program of each Ministry and address challenges facing the Ministry that could be resolved through the Council of Representatives.

He also mentioned that the committee regularly hosts ministers to discuss their ministerial programs. So far, four ministers and the head of the Hajj and Umrah Commission have been hosted.
