Abu Dhabi:The International Criminal Court (ICC) has declared its determination to continue its operations despite facing pressure from the United States.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ICC stated that US-imposed sanctions are intended to interfere with its functions and intimidate those who support it. Nevertheless, the Court emphasized its resolve to not succumb to such pressure.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced the sanctions today, indicating that these measures will inhibit any interactions with the ICC, sever its funding sources, and impair its capacity to take action against the US.
