Najaf:Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi has announced the launch of the ‘One Million Residential Land Plots Project – Watan Initiative’ in Najaf Governorate.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the initiative includes 35,000 residential land plots specifically allocated for the governorate.

The Prime Minister emphasized the significance of the project in meeting the housing needs of Najaf’s citizens, who currently lack their own homes. The government’s goal is to ensure that every Iraqi has access to a home or a plot of residential land for building.

Al-Zaidi declared that the ‘Watan Initiative’ is not a royal favor but a right of the citizens that had long been neglected. He assured that the initiative would not impose any financial burden on the state treasury, as businesspeople are collaborating to support this national effort.

During the event in Najaf, PM Al-Zaidi committed to following the example of Ali ibn Abi Talib in promoting justice and protecting citizens’ rights.
