Sana’a:The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced the destruction of 136 military targets in Houthi-controlled areas, as part of an extensive military operation aimed at the group’s members and capabilities.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Coalition Spokesperson Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki stated that the operation includes dismantling the Houthi ballistic missile network. The Coalition also continues to provide continuous air support to Yemeni Armed Forces in their operations against the Houthis.
Local reports from Sana’a indicated ongoing explosions in the Nihm district’s missile and weapons depots, following Thursday-Friday night airstrikes. Video footage from Bani Hushaysh captured violent explosions in the area.
Intensive airstrikes have targeted various locations, including weapons depots and communication networks across Sana’a, Al-Bayda, Ibb, Taiz, Al-Hudaydah, and Raymah. Al-Maliki noted that 11 ballistic missile depots in Saada’s mountainous areas were among the targeted sites, along with command-and-control centers.
These military actions were in retaliation for recent attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and Abha International Airport, as stated by the Coalition.
