Accra:Salah al-Din Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) units have carried out a major security operation in the east of Salah al-Din.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the PMF Commission stated that a force from Brigade 52, which is part of the PMF’s North and East of Tigris Operations Command, conducted the operation. The mission was focused on searching and securing the Hawi Bir Ahmed and Bastamli areas.

The statement further mentioned that the operation included searches in the village of Khidr Tha’lab and the Albu Akfa area. These efforts are part of a continuous initiative to enhance stability in the region, monitor critical areas, and prevent any suspicious activities.
