Washington:US President Donald Trump declared that Iran will not be allowed to possess a nuclear weapon under any circumstances. He also suggested that global energy and oil prices would see a significant decrease once the ongoing conflicts and military confrontations in the region are resolved.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Trump criticized the previous administration led by Barack Obama, accusing it of providing billions of dollars to Tehran. He insisted that earlier US administrations should have acted more decisively to curtail Iran’s nuclear program and weapons development.

Trump promised to impart a “harsh lesson” to Iran, stating that the US’s patience with Iranian actions is nearly depleted. He highlighted Washington’s continued military and economic efforts to stabilize critical waterways and press Tehran into complying with international requirements.
