Baku:The Border Ports Authority has announced the seizure of 25 bags of the narcotic substance “Khat” from a foreign traveler at the Rabia border crossing.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Rabia Border Crossing Directorate discovered the narcotics during an inspection at the search and investigation point. The 25 bags of Khat were concealed inside a private vehicle belonging to the traveler.

A formal seizure report was filed, and the suspect, along with the confiscated narcotics, was handed over to the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Division. The case will be presented before the competent investigating judge for further legal action.
