Baghdad:Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Heibat al-Halbousi, emphasized the necessity of supporting the Ministry of Defense to enable it to perform its duties effectively. This statement was made during his meeting with the Minister of Defense, Nayef al-Shammari.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting involved discussions on various issues related to the Ministry’s operations and strategies to strengthen the military establishment’s capabilities. Al-Halbousi highlighted the importance of cooperation between the legislative and executive branches to support the Ministry of Defense.
