Doha:The 9th edition of the World Investment Forum has commenced in Doha, featuring participation from Iraq’s Minister of Industry and Minerals, Mohammed Nouri.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the forum, hosted by Qatar in partnership with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), includes representatives from 160 countries. The attendees comprise heads of government, ministers, corporate representatives, international organizations, and experts.

The forum’s sessions will focus on significant global investment challenges and transformations, including geopolitical instability, supply chains, artificial intelligence, rare minerals, energy security, and sustainable development. The event aims to enhance global investment flows, broaden economic cooperation, and establish sustainable international investment partnerships to support economic development and address worldwide challenges.
