Tehran:Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi affirmed on Sunday that the situation in the Strait of Hormuz will not return to what it was before the war.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Araghchi stated that “achieving peace and stability in the region requires the complete withdrawal of foreign forces.” He highlighted that the security architecture of certain regional states, which had relied on foreign intervention, has collapsed.
Araghchi added that U.S. bases in the region have failed to provide security for anyone and have instead destabilized the area. He expressed support for any initiative aimed at ensuring regional security through the cooperation of states within the region themselves, and noted that Iran is prepared for dialogue on this matter.
Furthermore, Araghchi emphasized that Iran consistently underscores the necessity of achieving stability and bringing a comprehensive end to conflicts across all fronts.
