Baghdad:Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Farhad Amin Atroshi, engaged in discussions with the Italian Ambassador to Iraq, Niccolò Fontana, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations and mechanisms for parliamentary, economic, and developmental cooperation between Iraq and Italy.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting addressed several shared interests, such as reviewing the latest political developments in Iraq. Key topics included the ongoing dialogue and mutual understanding between Baghdad and Erbil, the Kurdistan Region’s budget entitlements, and broader regional events and developments.

The Italian Ambassador reiterated his government’s commitment to supporting Iraq, emphasizing efforts to consolidate stability and achieve comprehensive development across multiple sectors.
