Nineveh: A source in the Nineveh Police announced the arrest of a prominent leader in the ISIS terrorist organization after he infiltrated from Syria into the Nineveh desert.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the leader was supervising the organization’s detachments and was responsible for planning operations and managing sleeper cells inside Iraq and Syria. The operation came based on precise intelligence information as part of ongoing efforts to dry up the sources of terrorism and enhance security and stability in the province.
