Baghdad The Security Media Cell announced the arrest of a dangerous terrorist detachment affiliated with ISIS in Kirkuk Governorate.

The Cell stated in a statement: “As part of a series of specific duties carried out by the heroes of the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security in the Ministry of Defense, and through accurate intelligence information, the detachments of the Kirkuk Intelligence and Security Directorate, in coordination with the advanced headquarters of the Joint Operations Command of Kirkuk, managed to arrest a dangerous detachment consisting of (3) members of ISIS terrorist gangs in Kirkuk governorate, as they were intending to carry out terrorist operations targeting the security forces inside the governorate, arrest warrants were issued against them in accordance with Article (4) of the Anti-Terrorism Law.
