Hillah: A man in his forties killed his sixteen-year-old son by shooting him with a weapon he owned in his home north of Hillah on Saturday. Babil Police Media Director Major General Adel Al-Husseini confirmed the incident, stating that the father has been taken into custody by the police.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the police have transferred the son’s body to the forensic medicine department, and an investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
