Karbala The civil defense teams in Karbala extinguished a fire that broke out in a hotel and a building under construction in the Bab Al-Khan area of the governorate center, after 42 inmates were evacuated from inside the hotel.

A police source said that the civil defense teams controlled the incident and put out the flames rising from the building and the hotel in a record time, and rescued the inmates and transported them to a safe place.

He pointed out that the fire broke out due to the burning of an electricity generator above the building under construction, which caused the fire to move into the hotel.
