A High Security delegation arrives in Maysan

Baghdad A high-ranking security delegation arrived in Maysan province this morning, which included the Chief of Staff of the Army, General Abdul Amir Yarallah, Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, General Abdul Amir Al-Shamri, and the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations and Commander of the Ground Forces, to follow up border control.

The Security Media Cell said in a statement, “The delegation will inspect the great work of the engineering effort of the Iraqi army and the Popular Mobilization in implementation of Cabinet Resolution No. 57 of 2022, regarding the establishment of an earthen dam in Al-Hawizeh Marsh on the Iraqi-Iranian border strip with the aim of controlling international borders.”

The delegation will also be briefed on the security measures implemented by the Maysan Operations Command and the units and security services operating under its command in controlling security and stability in the governorate while protecting oil facilities and infrastructure goals.
