Baghdad A joint force of the 41st Brigade of the Popular Mobilization, security forces and river police carried out a security operation in Yathrib district, south of Salah al-Din Governorate.
A statement by the Popular Mobilization Authority stated, “The operation included an inspection of Zour Albu Hishma area, adjacent to the Tigris River, as well as areas, orchards, and middle islands in the Tigris River.”
The statement added, “These operations come within the framework of intensifying the security effort with the aim of enhancing security and stability and preventing the remnants of the terrorist “ISIS” from carrying out their attempts to disturb security stability or finding a foothold for in these areas.”
