A joint security operation was launched in Zour Al-Muqdadiya in Diyala Governorate.

A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): “Joint forces launched, in accordance with specific objectives, a security operation in Zuor al-Muqdadiya, northeast of Baqubah, from two axes.”

He added: “The operation aims to secure the surroundings of 10 liberated villages within the Al-Zour Basin, redeploy security, and secure agricultural roads linking the villages to the agricultural orchards.”
