A Losing Candidate From Basra Threatens To Cut Off The Roads Leading To The Ports If The IHEC Does Not Recount His Votes

Basra One of the losing candidates in the elections threatened, after the results were announced, to cut off the roads leading to the ports if the commission did not respond to his request to recalculate the votes he had obtained.

The candidate for the fourth constituency in Basra Governorate in Al-Fateh Alliance bloc for the House of Representatives elections, Rafiq Hashem Al-Salihi, “according to a video clip”, called on the Electoral Commission to recalculate his votes he obtained due to the appearance of different numbers from the numbers that were announced.

He added, “He was handed over the numbers in the election tapes,” pointing out that his demand is a popular demand for voters in Zubair district, Safwan district and areas belonging to them.
