Hilla / NINA /- A joint force of the National Security and Intelligence Service and the local police arrested today, Thursday, in an ambush in the Abi Gharaq district in Hilla, a man and a woman who were carrying quantities of narcotic pills and were trying to transport them to Karbala.
A source in the force said, “Accurate intelligence information led to an ambush in Abu Gharaq district, west of Hilla today, Thursday, during which a man and a woman were arrested in their possession drugs they were trying to transport them to Karbala.”
He added that the force transferred the suspects to the competent authorities for investigation, and the seized items were kept./ End
