Baghdad Military Intelligence Directorate and a support force seized a rocket launcher and an ammunition west of Nineveh.

A statement by the Directorate stated that, based on accurate information provided by the Military Intelligence Directorate in the Ministry of Defense, it confirmed the presence of a rocket launcher, bombs and explosive devices in “the villages of Al-Hlum and Sahel Al-Hamad in the districts of Tal Afar and Hatra” and in coordination with the Intelligence Department of Operations Command in western Nineveh, Military Intelligence detachments in the 15th Division and a support force from the third regiment, the 21st Infantry Brigade, and the Second Regiment, the 73rd Infantry Brigade, they moved on the targets and seized a launch pad for rockets, ten 60 mm mortar rounds, and three explosive devices of various shapes, while the engineering detachments of the accompanying force raised the materials and detonated them under control, without incident.
