Baghdad: A number of citizens were killed and injured in a fire that broke out at Al-Corniche Hypermarket in Al-Kut. Wasit Governor Mohammed Jamil Al-Mayah told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that a number of the injured were transferred to nearby hospitals for treatment.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the governor of Kut mourned the deaths of fifty people, including men, children, and women, in a tweet on the X platform.
