Hillah: Civil Defense teams successfully extinguished a large fire on Thursday that destroyed several homes in the Basarwa area on Street 80 in central Hillah, with no reported injuries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Civil Defense Media Director Aqil Abdullah stated that a fire broke out for unknown reasons, leading to the destruction of several homes in the Basarwa area on Street 80 in central Hillah. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in the incident.

He further mentioned that the police have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
