Amara Unidentified gunmen assassinated a police officer in Maysan.

A security source said that gunmen assassinated Captain Muhammad al-Shamousi, who oversees arrest warrants with the Integrity Investigations Department in Maysan, without knowing the reasons.

He indicated that the police transferred the body to the forensic medicine department and opened an investigation into the accident to find out its circumstances.
