Baghdad, The prices of Basra Medium and Heavy crude oil decreased slightly, today, Wednesday, with the drop in global oil prices.

According to Reuters’ economic bulletin, Basra medium crude, exported to Asia, fell 18 cents, or 0.23%, to $79.81 per barrel.

Basra Heavy crude, exported to Asia, fell 18 cents, or 0.24%, to $74.06.

Global oil prices witnessed a decline of more than 1% yesterday, Tuesday, and the decline continues today as well, with anticipation of a rate cut, which may reduce economic growth and limit global demand for fuel.
