Basra: Basra police arrested a suspect for drug trafficking and seized a quantity of narcotic pills in his possession.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Basra Governorate Police Command stated in a press release: “The Martyr Brigadier General Qasim Radhi Owaid (Al-Tahrir) checkpoint arrested the suspect and seized a quantity of narcotic pills in his possession.”

It added: “The suspect was referred to the Narcotics Affairs Division in Abu Al-Khasib for legal proceedings.”
