Aboul Gheit: Arab Countries Are Required To Address Challenges With A Collective Vision


Baghdad: Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, stressed on Tuesday that Arab countries are required to address challenges with a collective vision. In a speech during the ministerial-level meeting of the Economic and Social Council preparatory to the fifth session of the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit, Aboul Gheit emphasized the significance of a unified approach.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Aboul Gheit highlighted that Iraq is undergoing significant transformations. He expressed his congratulations to Iraq for assuming the presidency of the fifth session of the development summit. He further noted that the summit’s agenda includes crucial topics that need collective attention and action from the Arab nations.



The emphasis on a collective vision underscores the need for Arab countries to collaborate in addressing economic and social issues. The development summit is seen as a platform where these nations can come together to devise strategies that cater to the region’s unique challenges and opportunities.
