Baghdad: Head of the Iraqi Football Association Adnan Dirjal has been appointed as the Vice Chairman of the FIFA Technical and Development Committee. This appointment marks a significant milestone for Dirjal and the Iraqi Football Association.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Iraqi Football Association released a statement highlighting Dirjal's contributions during his previous term. His leadership saw the implementation of numerous tasks, including achievements by various national teams and advancements such as e-governance. The Association also emphasized the re-establishment of training courses for coaches and referees, the organization of workshops and the Professional League, as well as the execution of several curricula and programs. Moreover, Dirjal's tenure included hosting tournaments at both regional and Arab levels.
