After 11 Years of Suffering, Sinjar Welcomes A Yazidi Survivor and Her Daughter After Their Abduction by ISIS


Sinjar: The city of Sinjar in Nineveh Governorate welcomed a Yazidi survivor and her daughter after 11 years of captivity following their abduction by the ISIS terrorist organization in 2014.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the woman and her daughter were abducted during the brutal ISIS attack on Sinjar. They were taken to areas controlled by the terrorist organization, where the survivor and her daughter endured years of pain and suffering.



The survivor, who preferred to remain anonymous, confirmed in press statements that returning to Sinjar was a moment of both joy and tears, considering this day a new beginning for a safe life far from the organization’s atrocities.
