Baghdad: Head of Al-Nasr Coalition Haider al-Abadi discussed bilateral relations between Iraq and Lebanon in his office on Tuesday evening with Qablan Qablan, the envoy of Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri. The discussions focused on enhancing joint cooperation in various fields to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, Al-Abadi emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation among Arab countries. He highlighted the need for promoting dialogue and understanding to confront the common challenges facing the region.

For his part, Qablan conveyed Berri’s greetings and appreciation to Al-Abadi. He praised Iraq’s role in supporting Arab issues and stressed Lebanon’s keenness to continue coordination and consultation with Iraqi leaders.
