Baghdad: Head of Al-Nasr Coalition, Dr. Haider al-Abadi, met at his office with a delegation from the Reconstruction and Development Alliance, led by Bahaa al-Araji, head of the Reconstruction and Development parliamentary bloc. The discussions focused on the political and general situation in Iraq, emphasizing the necessity for national efforts to overcome current challenges, aiming to achieve stability and protect citizens’ interests.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Abadi’s office released a statement highlighting that the conversation also covered the procedures for completing the election of the President of the Republic and forming the next government. The importance of resolving these constitutional requirements within a legal framework was stressed, due to the direct impact delays could have on citizens’ lives and the services they receive.

Both parties underscored the need to strengthen dialogue among political forces and prioritize the national interest. This approach is seen as crucial for expediting the completion of constitutional requirements and fostering political stability in Iraq.
