Karbala: The Media Department at al-Abbas Holy Shrine recently welcomed a delegation from the Arab Broadcasting Union, comprising directors from various satellite channels and radio stations. This marks the delegation’s first visit to Iraq, where they expressed interest in exploring the holy city of Karbala and visiting the revered shrines of Imam Hussein and Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Ali al-Badri, head of the Media Department, shared insights with the delegation about Karbala’s culture and society. The visitors were presented with information on the historical Karbala incident, also known as the al-Taf battle. The discussions also highlighted the significant role played by the Karbala community in accommodating millions of pilgrims who visit the holy shrines. The services rendered by the devotees of Ahl al-Bayt to both local and international visitors were also emphasized during the presentation.
