Baghdad: Badr Organization Secretary-General Hadi al-Amiri received a delegation from the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), headed by Qubad Talabani, at his office in Baghdad. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the two sides discussed the historical and strategic relationship between the Badr Organization and the PUK, in addition to reviewing the relationship between the central government and the Kurdistan Region, and the importance of political stability in the Kurdistan Region due to its direct impact on the stability of Iraq. The two sides also discussed the most prominent political developments, constitutional entitlements, and the success of the parliamentary elections. It was emphasized that the strength of a unified Iraq is a strength for all, and there was strong support for the national project aimed at strengthening and sustaining the country's stability.
