Baghdad: National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Araji engaged in discussions with Hadi Al-Amiri, Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, focusing on the country's current state of affairs and broader regional and international issues.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting, held on Thursday, also covered the Iraqi government's plans for the upcoming electoral process. Both Al-Araji and Al-Amiri highlighted the necessity of political dialogue and rapprochement among all political factions representing the Iraqi populace. They emphasized this approach as essential for establishing a more stable phase that benefits both the citizens and the country.

Al-Araji reiterated his belief that democracy is the sole path forward for Iraq. He emphasized that strengthening democracy requires the commitment of all political forces responsible for governance. These forces must adhere to democratic principles and work collectively to support freedom and authentic popular choice.
