Baghdad: The Security Advisor to the Prime Minister, Qasim al-Araji, and the Head of the Administrative Board of the Police Sports Club, Lieutenant General Abdul Halim Fahim al-Farhoud, have highlighted the necessity of bolstering the sports movement in the country.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the media office of the advisor reported that during their meeting, both leaders discussed several files and issues of mutual interest. The discussions particularly focused on matters related to sports, alongside a review of the latest developments in the country’s general situation.
The dialogue underscored the need to support the sports movement and advance sports institutions, aiming to enhance their presence and role within society.
